10 Months Old

Hey! Look..I'm standing up!

Abbie Grace is now crawling AND pulling herself up. It's really a lot for a mommy to take in all in one week! Along with Ian starting preschool we have had a momentous week!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ian!

Ian celebrated his big 3rd birthday with a party at our rec center. They have a soft play room that he has taken a class in so we rented the room and invited his friends and had a great time! After they played and wore themselves out we had a THOMAS (of course) birthday party!

Circus

We started Ian's birthday weekend off with a trip to the circus. It was really loud but he had a good time. His favorite part was the lions! Abbie Grace was pretty overwhelmed by everything so she went to sleep! She did get to enjoy some cotton candy before she fell asleep though!

White House Egg Roll

What an exciting Easter Monday we had today! Some wonderful (and young) friends of ours braved the 20 degree weather along with SNOW (yes, in April) on Saturday night and got us tickets for the White House Egg Roll. You have to stand in line for these free tickets but they are not given out until 7:30 Saturday morning and you have to get in line at 9:30 the prior night!
Basically the front lawn of the White House is turned into a huge play area for kids. They had the egg roll (kids roll an egg with a spoon across a finish line), magic shows, authors reading stories, concerts, egg hunts, face painting, and so much more for the little ones!
Beforehand we hung out in the ellipse, the area across the street from the White House, and had a great time there too. Here are a few pics from our day.

Cherry Blossoms

This past weekend we went downtown to the Cherry Blossom festival. There was also a kite festival going on. Ian and Abbie Grace had lots of fun watching everything.

Easter Party at Church

We went to an Easter Party at our church. It was lots of fun!
