Neighborhood Halloween Party

We had a halloween party in our neighborhood this afternoon. Ian is Spiderman and Abbie Grace is a pig:)

Pumpkin Carving

Joe and the kids carved our first pumpkin last night. Ian did not like the feel of the inside of the pumpkin so he used a spoon to scoop it out!

We are on the home stretch! I go in for an ultrasound tomorrow to see just how big Evan is getting!

Cox Farms

I took the kids to Cox Farms (http://www.coxfarms.com/) on Saturday. It is a 90 acre farm with lots of fun stuff for kids to do. We went on a hay ride (a bit bumpy for a pregnant woman) and Ian went down lots of slides. Abbie Grace was too small to go down the slides by herself and I wasn't about to go down them with her. (We want Daddy to be home for the birth of Evan!!)

Why you don't leave the room during dinner...

Joe is out of town for a few weeks so tonight I made the kids dinner and then ran outside to start the sprinkler. Here's what I walked back into:

Abbie Grace's Baby Doll

Aunt Kerry sent Abbie Grace a baby doll and stroller. She has finally figured out that she can't sit in the stroller and loves to carry the baby doll around by the head...not sure what this says about how she will do with Evan!

National Book Fair

We went to the National Book Fair this past weekend. The PBS characters were there as well as the Magic School Bus. Ian had a great time...Abbie Grace...not so much. She was not a big fan of the large characters! They enjoyed running around in front of the Smithsonian Castle afterwards though, where we had a picnic.
