Ian LOVES fish. He loves to watch them. So I decided to get him a fish. The guy at the pet store took one look at me with my 3 children and said he would recommend a beta fish since they are easy to take care of. (I must have looked quite frazzled!) Anyways, here is Patches. We have a 2 week guarantee so hopefully he lasts!

Beta's are the perfect kid fish. You could dump your Beta on to the floor for a few minutes...and it'll still live. Heck, they make these great drops that seem to cure anything that ails your Beta - including water deprivation apparently.
